Psychology Society General Assembly '10

A general assembly for my last term *sobs* hopefully . (I want to graduate!!! ;p)

This is such a memorable day for me, why? First, I was able to walk on the stage of the auditorium seeing the crowded population of Psychology Society. It was actually my dream to be on that very stage. Promise! Ssshh just a secret! I thought only the officers, speakers, professors, performers of Psych have the right ta be ON that stage...good thing  that the  representative of Psychology Ambassadors and Ambassadress had a quick 10mins ramp modelling of the organizational shirts from 1st, 2nd, 3rd to 4th year. Of course I'm included there hehe. Guess what? I wasn't wearing any of our org shirts because Kenneth (my partner) and I will be sporting the attire that we wore on the pageant night. hee hee :D *giggles*

and going back! Second reason of my why-so-memorable-day is that the Psych Soc committee presented a video, they say it's a "tribute to the 4th year graduating students". And EHEM! our pictures are there! actually most of the pictures in the presentation are from our section HAHA! Bias, eh? It somehow made my eyes teary. I now realize that this will be my last year and I gotta study harder...I will truly miss my girlfriends, the salisi gang, classmates, professors and...my crushies :p hee kidding aside!

Third, this GA (general assembly) had chosen a great speaker! They've discussed such important issues like the Psychology bill (which really sucks), Pedya Camp (an organization that encourages students to join outreach program to help the exceptional children, isn't that nice?) and Lifebox (a Christian organization that lets you reconnect with God, great right?). I had a meaningful time listening to them :) It's about listening and learning at the same time.

Fourth. LIKE OH MY GOSHHH. MORAYTA BOYS IN THE HOUSE! YO! t'was my first time to see these hot guys performed on stage LIVE! and I'm super kilig because I saw my former Speech classmate crush! mouth watering and jaw breaking performance WEEE!! they're so funny and kawaii hee hee :3 the whole audtorium went wild talaga! I can see girls screaming with matching stamping of feet, and slapping their seatmate's faces..for real! hehehe ^_____________^

Lastly, my girl friends and I had a volleyball craze that we played happily for an hour. and it's nice cos my friend Marti who don't usually play volleyball joined! T'was full of fun even though majority of us don't know how to play one hehe we were just laughing the whole time. <3

I must say, full of entertainment, laughter and insights. Didn't know that it only takes 5 reasons to have a memorable day. suweeeeeeet indeeeeeeed!! :)

Dayum!

Thesis proposal defense is on oct 11! and we're not yet perfectly done with everything! I want to finish our study immediately but when im starting to get a paper and hold my pen there's nothing coming out in my head like WTH??! I'm really nervous T_T IDK if were heading on the right track.

In Jesus name, please give us the knowledge and wisdom on our study! I know you wont leave us. I know our thesis proposal will again be approved and yes, I'm proclaiming it!

One Team. Team Psychology

GOOD DAY EVERYONE! its been weeks since ive posted an entry! this entry that im about to share is filled with positive and good news. on my past entries ive been talking about the pageant about the IAS ambassadress and ambassador thing. remember? It was actually held last tuesday and im so late to blog about this.i didnt get the title but i got the 1st runner up and the people's choice award. thats too much! i wasn't really expecting to win this pageant cos all i only wanted to do is to best represent my course and answer what the judge is going to ask me.

TO START the whole story, before the pageant starts there's a parade wherein the ambassadors and ambassadress of each courses have their own sportswear attire. and guess what my attire is? iz like a tomb raider look, a shooting attire hee :3 well my legs kinda suck because of the mosquito bites who gave me dark spots on it but my girl friends Dawnie and Marti managed to conceal it and I was able to walk confidently.

After the parade huge raindrops started to fall upon our faces. the program stopped and we waited until the rain stops. its already 4pm and the pageant will start at 5pm but my hair and make-up artists were stuck in the traffic! and i need to have my hair and make-up done! if they weren't able to come on time the plan B was my classmate will goin to massacre my face..uhh no...she'll be the one to put my make-up on and......it.......sucks......(As i said to myself: I FCKNGLY NEEDED MY HAIR AND MAKE-UP ARTIST! NOW!) they came not exactly at 5pm, good thing theres still a program going on thats why i have time to prepare.

TADA! i was successfully tranformed thank God the program wasn't on time hee hee :3

before the pageant starts the awarding for the best dance group goes to the Schitzo dance group rephrezzunting Psychology! YAY! so proud of these girls! :)

PAGEANT STARTS. first theme was casual attire. I  HATE ET! i thought i was the only one who have the shirt customized and ripped but no all of em was waaayyy ripped as in super ripped. us candidates danced Solo by Iyaz and we messed the floor :p guess what it rained again so we hafta move to another place. as the rain promised, it stopped and we continue to the next theme

FUTURISTIC  ATTIRE. okay this time i can feel my feet hurts already. im wearing 4inches heels if thats too short for you well for me it effin hurts muuuch! this last theme was the most memorable for me. it is because....I FELL. YES I FELL AND MY KNEES HURT AND GOT WOUNDED. it was such a nice experience that i was able to got up and face the audience with my fake smile and blew a kiss. yikes haha! 

Q&A PORTION. This is the most awaited part of the event and i must say that im very very very  nervous! becuase  all of the audience are focused to the answers of the candidates. i was actually talking to myself in that very moment. "i can do this, what ill only do is to answer the judge's question and thats it your done". actually, from the very start of that day i have 3words that i kept on repeating until my name is called in the Q&A portion and that is "In Jesus name"

MY TURN. As i heard the question of the judge. PHEW. im quite relieved because i know i can answer him. i answered not for the sake of answering but i answered with my heart speaking. i can hear my co-psych majors shouting and cheering. I HEARD THEM FOR 3 TIMES. after that i dont mind about winning seeing their eyes smiling, i know i have inspired them. from the backstage i cant control myself but to cry because my answer also touches me. i remember my loved ones who passed away. My aunt and my grandfather. the president of Psych, my friend Chak and some rush thru me and said "why are you crying? stop crying!" my make-up smudges as i continue crying. In Jesus name!!

LAST RAMP. my feet continues to hurt. my co-candidate Macreen said your feet wont hurt if you think it wont. this will be my last ramp so i should not repeat the same mistake i did when i fell hehe. it went good naman ^___^ Thank God.

AWARDING. the judges decision were tie in the females Q&A. it was me and the mass communication who were tie. the judges' final decision were done and i got the 1st runner up award! :) i was so high that night and im sooooooo happy! after the pageant i quickly look for my friends and to God be the glory! we were so happy and some of us were jumping! WEEE! we took endless of pictures with all of our teeth showing. those 3 words i use to utter is so powerful. God is good He didn't leave me. and that night i didn't stop thanking Him for this wonderful blessing.

as what the picture said I had a serious beautiful hangover to Big bang! I've been playing this song a hundred times..really! Some says the song wasn't that great..I agree! because t'was super great for me :"> they never fail the girls to fall upon their seats while listening/watching their new MV. Goodness gracious! aaah all of them are HOT. sizzling hot ^__^ though I dont like Deasung's new hair haha! TOP I love u. your voice is soothing just soothing. No way, losing my way!

Yesterday was veryyyy draining! I had to do 5 things in just one day! 
First, an interview with the doctor for our documentary early in the morning! And it went successful as she answers eagerly in every questions we asked. 
Second, we moved to Quiapo for another interview with the tindero/as with the herbal medicines they sell and a short role palying outside the Quaipo church. I thought this will be easy for us to interview an Ale selling herbal medicines that we actually prepared questions for them but they were very hesitant that they won't allow any interviews and camera taking pictures of their faces and even their products. Well, I don't get the point (?) hmm maybe they were afraid that we may falsify or put a negative view with their medicines especially that some people won't prefer these because it is a sham and it won't help to cure anybody's illness. I don't know! UGH. 
Third, my girl friends and I went to the mall to buy a tube for my photoshoot later that day because I don't have one T_T....What's with the photoshoot? I actually pass the screening for Ms. Psychology ambassadress. (To God be the glory! ^_^ ) and now, I will be competing for Ms. IAS Ambassadress. 
Fourth, I have to do 2 photoshoot one is with complete uniform and the other with the tube! So we'll look nude on the picture. Guess what those nude-like shots will be put in posters in our school! my gosh, what a shame! my friends and classmates will be able to see that! HAHAHA! They'll tease me. I hope I wont look like a piece of shit there :p because to be honest the other candidates are wayyy purdy!! oh yeah! :D 
Lastly, a rehearsal for the opening number of the candidates. The song for that number is California Girls...sweeet! :"> we were done at 9pm! 

This day was indeed tiring yet HAPPY! Im so happy really! My girl friends Crisa, Dawnie and Cezy never leave me they were always there the moment I stepped my foot to the room when I got my hair and make-up done, buying me a tube, and also to the photoshoot that took lotsa time. Their smiling faces are my strength on that very moment when I feel like backing out. Also I took the courage to befriend the other candidates and they're so lovely and sweet! I all like them! ^_^

Thank you Lord, God for this day, I mean this blessed day! I knew you were with me all the time. I knew it! Gazillion thanks! Much looooooooove! <3
